Q&A: Jin Shin Jyutsu Book A Touch of Healing

Question: What you refer to in ‘I go to the 16,17,18,19 Flow in Text 1.’ (relating to the older post for toothache see here) can that also be found in a translation of the jin shin jyutsu book ‘the touch of healing’; the only book I have. WKR

Answer: Dear WKR – Since you asked the question in relation to the post about toothache, I can tell you that yes, there is some information in Alice Burmeister’s Jin Shin Jyutsu book called the Touch of Healing (available on Amazon) – on pages 103-105 she talks about the Large Intestine Function Energy. One can see from the diagram that the energy connects the teeth and the abdominal cavity – that’s why a healthy digestive system also means healthy teeth. Use the first step of the Large Intestine Flow: Place your left hand on the right SEL 11 and at the same time, hold your left index finger with the right hand (see the Safety Energy Locks Chart here) and vice versa for the other side. Hope this helps. – Astrid

Self Help for Pain: Fast Relief with JSJ Hold

Pain anywhere in the body colours your day very differently from when you are pain-free. A headache, toothache, ear ache, back pain, knee pain, nerve pain, ANY PAIN, can be alleviated with the Jin Shin Jyutsu hold for pain relief. It is as powerful as morphine. Obviously, continuous pain that won’t go away needs to be checked by a physician, but while you wait for them to treat you, there is something empowering that YOU can do for YOURSELF.

See this older post called First Aid for Pain Relief for the exercise.

Jin Shin Jyutsu for Toothache

Lately, I have seen many tooth projects come my way. Whenever I feel that my teeth are sensitive or sore, I go to the 16,17,18,19 Flow in Text 1. It’s amazing how quickly my teeth go back to normal! Large Intestine Flow is also helpful, and for gums, the Stomach Flow.

When sitting in the dentist’s chair it helps to hold the index finger – not only does holding it calm anxiety, but it also moves the energy through the teeth.

Also, Donna Eden has some useful acupuncture points for teeth. Each tooth corresponds to an energy organ. When there is pain, go to the ‘sedating points’ of the corresponding organ, hold them for a few minutes and the pain will be gone. For more information, read Donna Eden’s book entitled Energy Medicine (available on Amazon).

Have you had any Jin Shin Jyutsu experiences with helping the teeth? Would love to hear about them.
