Self Help to Relieve Emotional Upset

Jin Shin Jyutsu emotional upsetWhenever I feel emotionally upset or stressed and need to
calm down, I do this great Jin Shin Jyutsu Self Help Hold:
I cross my arms and hold my upper arms.

Wrap right hand/fingers over the left upper arm,
and wrap the left hand/fingers over the right upper arm.
Close your eyes and breathe in and out until you feel that
your sense of calm is restored.

All you need is a bit of privacy and a few minutes to restore
calm and perspective… Try it out.

This JSJ hold also clears the chest, the digestive system and releases tension in the back.

And when you feel calmer, use the Donna Eden zip up technique to ‘ground’ the calm: all you need to do is ‘zip up’ your chakras from the base (pubic bone) all the way up the front to the mouth and ‘lock’.

This will protect your energy from outside attack and help you remain more grounded and strong.

Donna Eden’s zip up technique is very useful if you live in the city – do it before you go out, and again when you come back home. Energy Medicine by Donna Eden is available here

How to Change a Habit or an Addiction

Want to change a deep habit inside of you? Maybe a physical thing that’s going on internally or something that you want changed in your being that you don’t want there anymore? Then this is a very old ancient technique that’s been forgotten and used in many places around the world – in China it’s been used as a technique to clear pain.

Take advantage of the fact that you have a right and left hemisphere of the brain. They affect you differently if you divide them. The left side is more critical and is a ‘judger’, it reacts negatively and is the side that says ‘no’. The right side of the brain is more positive, believing, trusting and says ‘yes’. So you have to provide two different statements for each side of the brain – the statement for the left side is worded negatively, and the statement for the right side is worded positively. Say the statement while you tap five times. Do the left side first with the negative statement and then the right side with the positive statement.

Do the Temporal Tap four or five times a day for at least a week, and Donna says that if the habit is deeply entrenched, then it might take up to 30 days to see results. If you don’t see any results quite quickly then choose a different statement!

This is Donna Eden at her best – she is awesome, and so lovely. Enjoy the video!

Health Hazard: Wire in The Bra

I was doing my 5 minute energy boosting exercises by Donna Eden this morning and remembered the first time I heard her say that the wire in one’s bra can cut off the energy to the bustline. It’s a health hazard!

One way to help clear the bustline using Jin Shin Jyutsu: simply hold left SEL 11 with the left hand and place fingers of right hand on right SEL 22 – reverse for the other side (First step of the First Method of Correction Flow).

In layman’s terms, place the left hand on the left neck/shoulder and the right fingers just under the right clavicle (shoulderblade).

Magic Exercise: For Sudden Fatigue

If you suffer from sudden and debilitating fatigue, it is quite possible that your ‘mediator’ energies are in need of some help. These are the energies that criss-cross the body from left to right and right to left. (note: Donna Eden has an exercise for this in her video below).

In Jin Shin Jyutsu keeping the Mediator energised is very important. I learnt this first hand one day when I had really overdone it. I was heading home on the underground in London. The journey was about half an hour long. Luckily, I managed to get a seat. I was SO excruciatingly EXHAUSTED, that I remember thinking: ‘I can’t do ANYTHING to alleviate this, not even Jin Shin Jyutsu – I just need to lie down and sleep’.

But then my hands naturally landed in a Jin Shin Jyutsu hold that Mary used to call ‘the little gem’. Half an hour later I bounced off the train, and nearly ran home. All the exhaustion was forgotten. It was one of the most incredible Jin Shin Jytusu experiences of my life.

So for the JSJ hold to alleviate fatigue: Place the right hand on the opposite left inner thigh (a few inches above the knee) and place the left hand on the opposite right upper arm (a few inches above the elbow crease) – and vice versa.
