			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Whenever I feel emotionally upset or stressed and need to calm down FAST, I do this great Jin Shin Jyutsu Self Help Hold: I cross my arms and hold my elbows. Wrap right hand/fingers over the outside (or the crease) of the left elbow, and wrap the left hand/fingers over the outside (or crease) of the right elbow.  Close your eyes and breathe until you feel calmer.</p>
<p>All you need is a bit of privacy and a few minutes to restore calm and perspective&#8230; Try it out.</p>
<p>And when you feel calmer, use the Donna Eden zip up technique to cement the calm: all you need to do is ‘zip up’ your chakras from the base (pubic bone) all the way up the front to the mouth and ‘lock’.</p>
<p>This will protect your energy from outside attack and help you remain more grounded and strong.</p>
<p>Will talk more about Donna Eden’s zip up technique in a separate post – if you live in the city it is very useful to do this before you go out, and again when you come back home.</p>

It&#8217;s a health hazard! </span><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">One way to help clear the bustline using Jin Shin Jyutsu: simply hold left SEL 11 with the left hand and place fingers of right hand on right SEL 22 &#8211; reverse for the other side (First step of the First Method of Correction Flow). </span><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">In layman&#8217;s terms, place the left hand on the left neck/shoulder and the right fingers just under the right clavicle (shoulderblade). </span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">If you suffer from sudden and debilitating fatigue, it is quite possible that your &#8216;mediator&#8217; energies are in need of some help. These are the energies that criss-cross the body from left to right and right to left. (note: Donna Eden has an exercise for this in her video below).</p>
<p>In Jin Shin Jyutsu keeping the Mediator energised is very important. I learnt this first hand one day when I had really overdone it. I was heading home on the underground in London. The journey was about half an hour long. Luckily, I managed to get a seat. I was SO excruciatingly EXHAUSTED, that I remember thinking: &#8216;I can&#8217;t do ANYTHING to alleviate this, not even Jin Shin Jyutsu &#8211; I just need to lie down and sleep&#8217;.</p>
<p>But then my hands naturally landed in a Jin Shin Jyutsu hold that Mary used to call &#8216;the little gem&#8217;. Half an hour later I bounced off the train, and nearly ran home. All the exhaustion was forgotten. It was one of the most incredible Jin Shin Jytusu experiences of my life.</p>
<p><strong>So for the JSJ hold to alleviate fatigue</strong>: Place the right hand on the opposite left inner thigh (a few inches above the knee) and place the left hand on the opposite right upper arm (a few inches above the elbow crease) &#8211; and vice versa.</span></p>
