Jin Shin Jyutsu Self Help Holds

A stiff neck and shoulder pain are, well, a pain in the neck!

Luckily, we all have an energy pathway that crosses the shoulders and hips, travelling up and down the arms into the middle fingers and also travelling up and down the legs doing kind of a loop de loop all over the body. This energy also goes round the head and around the chest.

This little gem of a Jin Shin Jyutsu self help hold does many things:
* eases a stiff neck and shoulder pain
* alleviates pain down the arm, in the elbow, in the hand & fingers
* detoxes the body
* helps protect the body against osteoporosis
* gets rid of aches and pains in the body (also fibromyalgia)
* lubricates the joints (so good for knee pain, elbow pain)
* and even helps with all arthritic projects or ‘problems’
* helps the skeletal structure
* helps the eyes

Place Left hand over Left Shoulder and Right hand on the Left elbow crease. For the other side, place Right hand over Right Shoulder and Left hand on the Right elbow crease.

Do this hold every day for 20 minutes minimum each side and within a short time you’ll definitely notice a difference!

Question: What flow do you suggest for Ostoporosis diagnosis, a 75 year old woman with 4% bone loss. She has two stents from 2 heart attacks and terrible anaphalactic reactions to bees. But that’s really everything, though the ostoporosis diagnosis was this week so I am upset, what can we do? I studied with Mary years ago at a workshop in NY (1982?) – S

Answer: Hi S, Thanks for your questions. Let’s deal with one thing at a time.

Osteoporosis is characterized by the loss of normal density of bone, resulting in fragile bone. It can go undetected for years. Osteoporosis leads to literally abnormally porous bone. This disorder of the skeleton weakens the bone causing an increase in the risk for breaking bones (information by Medicinenet.com)

The good news is that there is a special Jin Shin Jyutsu hold that can help. You can apply it to someone else, or the person can apply it as self help. Do it every day for at least 20 minutes and if possible, 2x a day for at least two weeks and keep going! (This Special Body Function hold is on page 54 of Mary’s Text 2).

The Jin Shin Jyutsu Hold for Osteoporosis: Place Left hand over Left Shoulder ( SEL 11/3) and Right hand on the Left elbow crease (SEL 19). See the diagram.

This hold helps with the conditions of osteoporosis, all arthritic projects, and the heart. It also lubricates the joints, and helps with nearsightedness.

Also, Main Central everyday and even the Trinity Exercises would also help tremendously with all her projects. See older posts Main Central Source of Life and The Trinity

In the case of anaphylactic shock, I resort to THE EMERGENCY HOLD, which is holding the inside of the knees (SEL 1), as well as all the other requirements in an emergency. Safety Energy Lock 1 is called The Prime Mover. It is found on the inside (medial side) of the knees. It connects extreme heights with extreme depths and harmonises us from head to toe because it helps the descending energy (which moves down the front) and the ascending energy (which moves up the back). Use in the case of any EMERGENCY – breathing, vomiting, nausea, shock, stomach cramp etc.

Additional Information: A stent is a small mesh tube that’s used to treat narrowed or weakened arteries in the body and Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic reaction that occurs rapidly and causes a life-threatening response involving the whole body. This reaction can lead to difficulty breathing and shock, so one has to act quickly (see more on medicinenet.com)

Just a few of my favourite foods with High Calcium content: Parsley, Sesame seeds, Almonds, Hazelnuts, Pistachio nuts, dried Figs, Chickpeas, Dark Molasses, Raw Collards and Kale. A lot of these foods like the dried figs also have high Iron content. The list is exhaustive especially of dried spices: basil, marjoram, thyme, dill weed, celery, sage, coriander, fennel seed, cumin seed, cinnamon and others…
