Jin Shin Jyutsu Global Event 8.8.2017

Please join us for another Jin Shin Jyutsu Global Event on Tuesday 8.8.2017 at 8 AM (1 hour) and/or 8 PM (1 hour) your time, where ever you are in the world.

The idea behind these global events is to create a rainbow of harmony across the world together using Jin Shin Jyutsu self help exercises. In the past, more than 30 countries have participated!

When we harmonise our individual energies, we harmonise our environment and beyond.

I always love playing with the numbers in Jin Shin Jyutsu. After all, our human make up includes numbers: from 0 the Oval – Main Central, to the 26 Safety Energy Locks found along the left and right side ‘Supervisors’ of the body.

8+8+2+0+1+7 = 26 (meaning Complete – that which was, is, will be)
2+6 = 8 (meaning Rhythm, Strength and Peace)

So the exercises for the event on August 8, 2017 are as follows (you can practise these exercises sitting down, lying down or standing if you like):

1. Crossing energies (Mediator) – 20 minutes
Harmonises attitudes, eases fatigue.

Keep the knees together so they touch
Place right hand over left shoulder
Place right thumb over right ring finger nail
Relax the hands and hold 10 minutes.

2. Vital Life Force for the total Being – 20 minutes

Left side
Place your right hand under your left armpit so the fingers rest on the edge of the shoulder blade.
Place your left hand on your left groin
Relax the hands and hold for 10 minutes

Right side
Place your left hand under your right armpit so the fingers rest on the edge of the shoulder blade.
Place your right hand on your right groin
Relax the hands and hold for 10 minutes

3. Assimilation/elimination functions. Muscle tension/stress – 20 minutes

I started my journey in complementary therapies in 1997 after a successful career in advertising. I began by studying the physical body and received my Diploma in Holistic Aromatherapy from the Tisserand Institute (TIDHA) in London in 1999. Around that time, I had a very interesting experience and became fascinated with the energy in the body. I explored various modalities like Reiki, Spiritual Healing, Shamanism and the like, but felt that I was missing something. Then I discovered the Universal Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu, a hands-on therapy that can be applied by a trained practitioner and also learnt as self help. I suffered from migraines and was amazed that with some simple self help exercises I was able to manage the headaches and then clear them. I became a fully trained Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner in 2000 and have been teaching the self help classes since 2001. Over the years I have attended Jin Shin Jyutsu seminars and advanced classes presented by the original instructors that Mary Burmeister herself taught. I live in Wiltshire, England where I offer treatments, talks and self help classes. My role is simply to introduce the awareness of this gentle, yet dynamic Universal Art which is available to each and every one of us to use for our health, wellbeing and longevity.
